HERIAN – Heritage in Action, is a unique partnership with a mission to bring alive the amazing story of Wales, the world’s first industrial nation. HERIAN brings together public, voluntary and community groups to enable local people and visitors alike to discover and enjoy the rich legacy of the dynamic generations who triggered change across the globe.
This is Our Heritage
This is Our Heritage is a HERIAN initiative that has aims to provide community heritage organisations in South Wales with the support they need to develop an Interpretation Plan for telling orinterpreting the story of the heritage on their doorstep. This is the fourth year that the programme has been run and to date over 40 community heritage organisations in South Wales have developed their own plans and are taking forward a wide range of interpretation projects.
Who is it for?
This project is aimed at community groups within industrial south Wales. You may be a small group of friends with a passion for a local building, you may be a Communities First partnership. Get in touch and let us know that you are interested.
